New update
Minor change of plan – meeting at Higher Rew at 11am, rather than North Sands. This means all the cars will be in the right place. This will be an opportunity for a quick found of innovative/dodgy spirits before we set off. I am hoping to make Christmas pudding vodka as my contribution. Penny’s toffee vodka is looking ominously cloudy, certainly will impair our intellectual functioning!
We have 12 slots left so please email Penny (pcmreed@hotmail.com) if you wish to come.
We have a change to the programme this Christmas. The Yawl Treasure Hunt planned for 29th December cannot take place as originally planned at East Soar; sadly the owners have had to change their plans due to family illness. This gives us the opportunity to move the date to 28th December therefore enabling the golfing yawlies to join us. Malcolm and Sue Squire have very kindly offered to host at Higher Rew. Graham Pike and Simon Stewart have kindly agreed to be in charge of sorting the Treasure Hunt which leaves Sev and I in charge of soup!
The plan as it stands is that we will have soup, cheese and bread. We need to take some drinks along. I am hoping that people will drop off cheese and booze at the meeting point and I will take it up to Higher Rew.
We need to limit numbers to about 40 so please let me Penny know that you are coming asap (pcmreed@hotmail.com).
